I can't wait until tomorrow so we can fight again

I told the kids that all I wanted for Mother's Day was for them not to fight.  I remember thinking that was weird when my mom would say that when I was young, but it is so true!  The kids did really good yesterday, there was very little fighting.  At the end of the night Caitlyn said, "I can't wait until tomorrow so we can fight again."  Ha!
I had an awesome Mother's Day weekend.  Keith took the kids shopping on Saturday and I got a nap and then I went to dinner with Katie and shopping with Tiff and Katie while Keith took care of things at home.  It was so great to have the day off.
On Sunday they brought me a delicious breakfast in bed and made me a yummy dinner after church.  They gave me all of my favorite treats and wrote me sweet cards.
After dinner we decided to go up to Provo Canyon.  It was a little chilly, but just right for me!  The kids were excited and we had a great night together.
I love this picture.  The kids didn't complain about pictures at all, another Mother's day gift!
I had fun walking in the water with Hallee. The water was freezing!
The falls aren't very big this year.  Caitlyn and Jonah climbed up the rocks and went right under the falls.  They came down the trail instead of back down the rocks.
We walked up the trail to meet them because Jonah was in his bare feet and I wanted to bring him his flip flops.  We decided that we should all go up the trail to the falls.
It was so fun.  It was too cold to go into the falls, but we all want to go back and do that.
It started to rain while we were at the top so we tried to get down quickly.  Keith is a great protector for us and always made sure to give us all a hand on the steep parts.
Jonah has learned a lot from Keith and made sure to hold Hallee's hand and help her down the trail.  It was such a sweet sight.
By the time we got back down to the paved trail it was pouring.  We were all fine with the rain except for Hallee, she was not a fan.  We were all pretty soaked by the time we got to the car.  We all loved the adventure though, it was a great night as a family.  We came home and had ice cream for dessert. It was such a wonderful day.  I woke up refreshed and recharged and ready to take on the day this morning.
I have always wanted to be a mom.  It is a million times harder than I thought it would be, but it is exactly what I want to be doing.  I'm so grateful for these four beautiful kids that call me mom.
