School is out for the summer!

Hallee had her last day of school on Thursday.  I can't believe how fast this year went by. It seems like I was just dropping her off for her first day of Kindergarten and wondering if she would be okay socially.
I had nothing to worry about. She has done amazing this year.  She has come out of her shell and made a lot of friends and participated in class.  She can read almost anything you put in front of her and is a great writer.  I am very proud of her for working so hard this year.
I wanted to document her goodbye routine.  Every morning she gives me the "I love you" sign, makes a heart with her hands and then blows me a kiss before she goes into the school.  She also does this before bed.  Keith and I do it with her and we make an exploding sound after each one.  Hallee is such a sweetheart!  I'm sure going to miss having her home with me next year.
Wyatt's teacher adored him.  This is what she wrote on his report card.  Wyatt is a great student and works very hard to make sure he always does his best.  He was really good at coming straight home and doing his homework.
Jonah and his friends walked to Wendy's for lunch on the last day of school.  He has such a great group of friends.  Jonah got a 4 (the highest score) on all of his sage tests.  His teacher told us that he would not give out 4's on report cards, he finally caved and gave Jonah a few last term.  It was frustrating to me that he wouldn't give 4's if that is what the student earned, why have a grade if it is unattainable.  This last term Jonah got all 4's, grades and citizenship! I'm glad his teacher realized that Jonah earned 4's.  Jonah is great at being responsible and making sure his homework is always done.  He knows he can't play until homework is finished, so that really helps motivate him.
The outdoor pool opened on Friday.  I thought that was the perfect way to celebrate the last day of school.  I was so hot all day, so it felt great.
We had fun playing in the pool for a couple of hours.   We are all excited for summer break!
