This week is Spring Break. The kids are thrilled that they don't have to do their online school this week. We always love to get together with friends and cousins during Spring Break, so it's been sad that we can't do that this year.
I told the kids I get to chose one activity every day. They were thrilled grumpy about it. Yesterday I told the kids we were going on a hike. We drove around for a while and had trouble finding one that had the gates open at the trail head. Provo Canyon was packed. We finally stopped at Vivian Park and walked along the river trail toward Bridal Veil Falls. We stopped at the train tracks for some pictures.
They have a few abandoned train cars there. The kids all got excited about exploring and climbing on them.
There wasn't a lot of flat surfaces so they had to get creative.
Caitlyn and Jonah were excited when they realized that they could climb on top of one of the cars.
Wyatt decided he wanted to climb up there with them, but he was too nervous to stand up. You can see his head poking up.
He got more brave as time went on.
The parkway had a lot of people on it, but we had this place to ourselves.
Jonah looks so grown up and so strong!
Hallee didn't want to climb on the cars. I climbed up, but decided against getting in the car because I wasn't sure I would be able to get back out.
It was tricky for Wyatt to get out, but he did it with help from Caitlyn and Jonah.
Jonah said he wanted to jump onto another car. I'm always torn on whether I should let him do things or tell him no because I'm worried about his safety. Luckily, he decided this wasn't a great idea on his own. I told Keith I decided to take a picture so I could show the doctor at the hospital how it happened, HA! I'm very glad I didn't need to.
The kids were good sports about letting me take some pictures.
It was nice that everyone was happy while we were here, because they weren't too happy about the whole hike idea.
I sure love these kids!
After we finished playing on the train cars we walked along the river trail. Jonah wanted to climb up everything.
Wyatt didn't want to smile for the picture, but he was happy about the piggy back ride.
I love this picture. The fresh air, sun and exercise was good for all of us.

Great pictures of a fun day! Your children are good sports and it's great they are so willing to do things but I am glad also that Jonah decided not to jump from the one train car to the other! That looked a little scary!
Great pictures, but that last one is perfection!
