I knew Wyatt would love the Upper Falls hike so I took him on Saturday. When we were driving home he said, "I wouldn't say this to anyone else, but you are like my favorite person to spend time with." I have to write that down because being a mom is so hard and someone is usually mad at me, but I need to remember that there are a lot of sweet moments as well.
This is a good picture to show how steep the trail is. I was pretty proud of myself for doing it twice in one week.
I love hiking to waterfalls. The waterfall is like the prize at the end.
Wyatt had fun playing in the water while I sat and enjoyed the sound of the waterfall.
I love spending one-on-one time with my kids.
It looked like there was a trail on the side of the waterfall. Wyatt and I decided to check it out. It was very steep and one side was a big drop off.
We got a little nervous and had to really be careful.
We came to this rock and realized that it was not a trail!
We took these pictures for fun, but we were both a little nervous about getting back down.
I fell once while we were going down. Luckily, I caught myself and it wasn't too bad, but I was sure grateful to be back on the trail.
This was the safest part of the trail we climbed up, so I took a picture.
It is so fun to look around and enjoy all the beauty.
I got one last picture of the waterfall and then we headed down.

Wyatt's compliment was so sweet!! Good job hiking the difficult hike twice in one week! After sitting so much yesterday it probably felt good! I loved the fear pictures. What a fun thing to do with Wyatt and good for you! You're a great mom and don't let anyone make you feel like you're not! It does look beautiful up there!
