Birthday Girl

Hallee was so excited for her birthday on Monday.  She kept singing, "it's my birthday tomorrow" Sunday night before bed

.  

She decided that she wanted to go to the Aquarium with Tessa for her birthday.  Hallee loved her presents from Tessa.  They were all sloth things.  She loved her diamond art set.

We got to the aquarium right when it opened.  We were happy to see that we beat the crowds.  It was really crowded by the time we left.

We went into the Asia exhibit first because Hallee was anxious to see if the sloth was out.

Unfortunately the sloth was not out.  We checked back one more time before we left, but he was in the log sleeping both times.  

After that we went to the play land.  The girls had a great time playing for a while and then they were ready to go see the rest of the animals.

They loved petting the sting rays, starfish, anemone and Tessa pet a baby shark.

The girls loved watching all the animals.  We sat and watched the penguins for a while and we all loved watching the otter swim.

After the aquarium I bought them lunch and we went back to our house. They had fun playing Minecraft.  Tiff and Paul were so nice and took Wyatt during the party.  He loved hanging out with Rockwell.

After Tessa left Hallee wanted to get working on her diamond art picture that Tessa gave her.  Caitlyn did it with her for a while.

Hallee requested mini tacos and macaroni and cheese for dinner. 

Hallee was very excited to open presents after dinner.  She brought out a gift bag and said she had a present for herself.  She pulled a toothpick out of the bag and she thought that was hilarious!

We got her a diamond art set too.

She didn't ask for anything so all the gifts were a surprise. 

She loved her new robe-blanket.

I think she was pretty happy with her presents. 

I loved to see the other kids making a fuss over Hallee on her birthday.

It was fun to have Ashley here with us to celebrate.

Hallee asked Caitlyn to make her a sloth cake.  Caitlyn worked for hours on this cake. She did such a great job and Hallee loved it. 

Kyle and Paige came over to see Ashley and joined us for cake and ice cream.

Caitlyn did such a great job with the cake. It tasted as good as it looked.

Hallee wanted to work on her new diamond art set that night for her special birthday time with mom and dad. I think Hallee had a great birthday and we had a great time celebrating Hallee!
