Ham Family Reunion

Last weekend we had a Ham family reunion in Bear Lake.  It took a while to find a time that worked for everyone, but finally we settled on July 22-26.  We were originally going to do it the week Jonah had Young Men's camp, but we changed it so he could go.  I'm so glad we did because Jonah ended up having Covid so wouldn't have been able to go.
Mom and Dad rented a big house for all of us to stay in.  It was hard to find a house that would fit all of us, but I'm so glad we did.  The house was so nice and big.  The deck overlooking the lake was awesome.  It was so nice to have cool weather and be able to sit outside.  This summer has been so hot!
The house had ping pong, pool, basketball hoops and foosball.  The kids loved that.  It was so nice that there was so much for them to do.
The sunsets every night were beautiful!  The house we stayed in was only three hours away from our house, but it took us over four hours to get there.  Hallee started feeling sick on Monday evening so Tuesday I took her and got a Covid test just to be sure.  She was negative, thank goodness, so it was just a cold.  By Wednesday Wyatt had the cold and wasn't feeling great. He started getting car sick in Ogden, so we stopped a lot.  I was really worried when he was still feeling nauseous after we got to the house.  He was pale and felt queasy so we kept him in our room while we made sure it was just car sick and nothing else. Caitlyn started having a lot of pain and pressure and we were pretty sure she had an urinary tract infection.  She kept feeling worse and between her and Wyatt I was really stressed about being there and sharing bathrooms with everyone.  At one point we decided to pack up and leave and then Caitlyn was able to pee and felt a little better.  We decided to get Caitlyn and Wyatt to bed and see how they were in the morning.  Thankfully they both felt better in the morning.  Wyatt's stomach was fine and Caitlyn was feeling a lot better.  I'm so glad we were able to stay!
Wyatt was so happy that we didn't go home, he was in tears when we were going to leave.  He loved spending all day every day with Ammon and Rockwell.

The teenage boys enjoyed the hot tub.
They fit quite the group in the hot tub when we got home from the lake on Friday. Damon was so cute and brought sodas out for everyone.
On Saturday Tessa, Hallee and Damon had fun in the hot tub for a couple of hours.
Cheers to vacation life!
We stopped for shakes after the lake on Friday.
They were so good.  We got some more shakes on Saturday.
Grandma played the candy bar game with all the kids.
I loved hearing Caitlyn and Elena play their ukuleles and sing.
It's so fun to see everyone visiting with each other.
Wyatt got his present from grandma and grandpa.  He was so excited to get his own ukulele.
Caitlyn helped him get it tuned and ready to go.
Everyone had fun playing games together.

My favorite thing was visiting with everyone.
On Sunday we had the sacrament and grandpa shared a beautiful testimony.
Hallee's pose in this picture cracks me up!
I'll do separate posts for the activities that we did.  We all took turns cooking a meal and that worked out really well.  Everyone pitched in and helped so it wasn't overwhelming.  We all enjoyed this time with family so much.  I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful family and that we all love to spend time together.
