Cousin Time

Last weekend Matt and Lori and the kids came into town. It was Elena's birthday Monday and she wanted to go to Lagoon with Caitlyn and girls from EFY.  They got in late Friday night.  Matt called and said the kids were dying to come over so he brought them over and they got here around 12:30 AM.  Jonah was thrilled, Caitlyn was already asleep.  I had Elena wake up Caitlyn the next morning, she was pretty confused. 

Saturday morning I drove the kids up to Lagoon.  I loved hearing them talk and laugh the whole way up there.  I dropped them off and headed back home. They had so much fun. Caitlyn has a bunch of cute pictures, so I'll get those and post about Lagoon on a separate post.

On Saturday the adults met up and went to dinner at Leatherbys and then Tiff and I went and picked the kids up from Lagoon because she rode up to Salt Lake with me.  We both laughed so much while we listened to the four of them talk.  Cody and Elena came and stayed at our house again and came to church with us on Sunday. 

On Sunday we went to my parents house to celebrate birthdays.  Elena was excited to celebrate her birthday at grandma's house. 

Hallee and Tessa spent the night doing each others hair. 

Wyatt and Rockwell are sure looking grown up.

We celebrated Jonah's birthday.

He had fun getting the money grandma and grandpa gave him out of the balloons.  Caitlyn is not a fan of popping balloons.

I had to get a picture of these three since they celebrate their birthdays together every year.  We loved having Matt and Lori and the kids in town.  

Caitlyn has been doing a weekly bible study with Ataiya and Amarie.  She loves talking about Christ with them.  They are all such good girls who love their Savior, Jesus Christ. Caitlyn loves spending time with Ataiya and Amarie, they have so much fun together.  Caitlyn drove to their house on her own for the first time a couple of weeks ago.  It's hard to worry about your kids even though you know they are responsible and it's time to let them be independent. I'm sure glad she has these girls!
