Birthday Girl

Caitlyn's birthday was on a Thursday this year.  I always stress about making it a good day for them. It's harder as they get older and when it is on a school day.  It worked out great that Hallee had her program that day so Keith left work early for it and just stayed home.  Jonah didn't have track that day, so we had an early dinner.  Caitlyn requested eggs benedict for dinner.

After dinner Caitlyn opened presents.  Hallee wanted to go first, she was so excited to give Cailtyn her present. Hallee got her ear rings and a shirt and wrote her a very sweet note.

Wyatt bought a mason jar and spray painted it and then filled it with Hershey kisses.  Jonah gave her lotion.  

Caitlyn ordered some clothes she wanted and I wrapped them up.  It's not very exciting, but at least she gets what she wants! 

I did have a couple of surprises for her.

She loved all of her gifts, especially the cards they all wrote her, that means a lot to Cailtyn.

After she opened her presents we told her that she could pick a family activity.  She wanted us all to watch an episode of Raven's home. 

After that Mel and Amarie came down for the evening.  I'm so glad it worked out for Amarie to come over, that made Caitlyn's birthday perfect.

Caitlyn wanted to do another escape room so I booked tickets for Thursday night.  Her and Amarie went and picked up Alisha and Kiersten and the four of them went to the escape room. Caitlyn said it was so fun and they figured it out!

After that they went to the Wash. It was a little weird to send her off to have her birthday party instead of taking her and being there.  She is growing up!  I made her promise to take some pictures for me.

They gave them free Jell-O shots for Caitlyn's birthday.  Caitlyn said Amarie fit right in and they all had so  much fun together.  She said it was her best birthday ever!
