Spring Break

Last week was Spring Break.  The kids had the whole week off of school. I'm so glad Tiff had the same Spring Break, we loved hanging out with them every day.

On Monday we went up to Timpanogos Park and the kids rode their scooters and penny boards down the hills.

The weather was all over the place during the week. The weather changed by the minute that day. 

After they rode for a while we came over to our house and Tiff and I were happy to be in the warm house.

On Tuesday they came over here to play for a while and then we went to Lowes.  We couldn't even find a place to park, so we decided it was way too crowded to have fun there.  The boys wanted to go bowling, but the girls wanted to come back to our house and play.  I took the girls to our house and they had fun playing here.

It looks like they all had a great time!  On Wednesday I took the kids over to Tiff's house and Tiff and I sat in the hot tub while the kids played outside.  It was so nice and relaxing!

On Thursday we went to my parents house and the boys helped grandpa with some yard work.  They worked hard and grandpa was very generous in paying them. 

The girls had fun helping grandma plant some potatoes in the garden.  Mel came over and we were able to visit while the kids played.

On Friday we stayed home and Wyatt helped me get all the furniture out of the shed and onto the deck and then I cleaned out the shed.  I wish I would have taken a before picture, it was a mess!  Wyatt has been spending a lot more time out there now that he has more room to break dance.  Keith cleaned out the garage on Saturday, it feels so good to have things cleaned and organized. 

On Saturday Keith and I went to the temple.  Tiff invited the kids to come over and go to the park with them while we were gone.

They had a blast and I was so grateful that they were having fun playing instead of on screens while we were gone.  Thanks Tiff!

They were very excited when Tiff took them for ice cream after the park.  I'm so glad we live so close to Tiff and that the kids could have so much time together and I could have time to visit with Tiff.

While I was entertaining the little kids the older kids were doing their own thing.  Jonah worked some during Spring Break and had fun hanging out with his friends.  He bought an airsoft gun and had fun having battles with his friends in the field by Kyle's house. 

On Saturday he went golfing for Jett's birthday.  He wore his best golfing attire.  I will always think of Elijah when I see this shirt.  

Caitlyn worked and hung out with friends all week. She likes to go out with her friends after work, so it makes for some late nights! I was not sleeping well last week and Keith was getting up early to go to the gym every morning so we didn't wait up for Caitlyn.  She loved it, she said it made her excited for college.  I'm glad she's made some good friends at work and has so much fun with them, that makes her job enjoyable.  Saturday night her boss took them all to the movie. 

I'm glad Caitlyn could sleep in every day because she had a lot of late nights.  I also love that she sleeps with a stuffed animal, Bella gave her that for her birthday.  She might be close to being an adult, but she will always be my baby! 

Wyatt was obsessed with making a shirt with a character from Smash Brothers.  We finally got the supplies on Wednesday and he was a happy boy.

Hallee decided she wanted to decorate a banner instead of a shirt.

Wyatt entertained us all by getting in this costume that was way to small and dancing around!

Hallee has been wanting to bake so I got the recipe for coconut eggs that my mom used to make for Easter. After you make them you dip them in chocolate, they are so good!

Caitlyn made some frosting and the kids decorated the eggs.

Jonah didn't want to decorate them, but the other kids had fun doing it.

They turned out great.  That's a wrap for Spring Break.  I'm ready for some quite days and to get the house cleaned up.  I can't believe we are down to the last quarter in school, this school year has gone by so fast.
