Hallee loves to perform and she has been so excited about her school program.
Every time she saw that I was taking a picture she would smile.
They learn about Utah history in 4th grade so that is what this program is about.
They each had a group that they went up on stage with and they either had a speaking or a dancing part.
Hallee was happy that she got a dancing part.
She was the farmers wife. They had this dress for her to wear.
She did great and loved doing the program twice, once for students and once for parents.
She was so happy that grandma and grandpa came to watch. She loves having them there.
The program was on Caitlyn's birthday. She was so frustrated in math class and texted me and asked me to check her out. Her teacher had a baby and didn't come back from maternity leave so it has been a rough year. She had a long term sub that she loved, but they didn't keep him because he didn't have his teaching degree. They hired a permanent teacher and Caitlyn is not a fan. He is obsessed with chess and teaches them how to play every class. Caitlyn stresses about the tests and wants to actually learn the math so she will be ready for the tests. He keeps telling her that she needs to relax about tests and learn how to play chess. Caitlyn and her friend are so frustrated. They talked to the assistant principal and she is going to talk to the teacher. She also helped Caitlyn and Kylie with the problems that they didn't understand, which helped Cailtyn's stress level so much. Anyway, I checked her out early so she came to the program with us.
Hallee was thrilled to have Caitlyn there. I can't believe that we are in the last quarter of the school year. This year has flown by. Hallee has the best teacher and neither one of us are ready for her to leave Mrs. Hafen.
