Jonah was so excited to have Cody stay with us for a week. On the 4th of July Elena went to EFY and the next day Matt and Lori went to Logan for a few days. Cody stayed with us and the boys had a blast together. Jonah was so excited that Cody could drive them around, he loved that freedom. I did say no when he asked to drive around and squirt his friends with water guns. After that Jonah asked if they could go specific places and we were fine with that. They would take Caitlyn to work and pick her up so they could have the red car.
Cody and Jonah loved having Caleb come over and game with them on Monday before they headed back to Idaho.
Boys come up with some interesting ideas for things to do. They thought jumping off the shed onto the trampoline sounded fun.
They realized pretty quickly that it wasn't very fun and it hurt their legs.
These two keep me laughing. I think they were trying to recreate a movie picture during our family picture, ha! Jonah and Cody didn't take any pictures, so I don't have many, but they had fun going out to eat, driving up to Y Mount to watch fireworks, going to Provo Beach and sitting in the massage chairs at RC Willey. They were really helpful and ran errands for me too.
On Thursday night Matt and Lori came back from Logan and stayed here for two nights. I loved having them here. On Friday Matt took the boys hiking with mom, dad, Mel, Tiff and Rockwell.
They enjoyed it and came very hot and very dirty!
They hiked to Lake Blanche. It looks beautiful.
They said it was a pretty steep hike.
On Saturday morning Matt and Lori picked up Elena and her friend from EFY. Caitlyn got to visit with Elena for a little bit before she had to go to work.
We went to Leatherby's for lunch and ice cream before they had to take Elena's friend to the airport. Keith and Wyatt went to camp that week so they were gone from Thursday to Saturday.
Jonah and Cody thought they could eat this giant ice cream. Their eyes were bigger than their stomach!
After Leatherby's they came back and hung out at our house until they had to leave for the airport. Hallee loved having Elena do rainbow loom with her. It was so fun to have Matt and Lori here, the week went by so fast!

Such a great post and boys do come up with funny ideas. I'm glad they didn't get hurt jumping off the shed! That was so cool that Jonah got to have Cody drive him around and I'm sure they enjoyed that. How nice that they'd take Caitlyn to work and pick her up. I sure love it when the cousins have so much fun together and are so close!!
