Zions National Park

We debated on which day to go to the South entrance of Zions National Park.  This is the main attraction and the most crowded.  We didn't want to do it on Saturday because we knew it would be really crowded and since we were driving down that day we wouldn't be able to get there early enough. We weren't sure if we would want to spend two days here, so we decided to go on Sunday in case we wanted to go back on Monday.
The downside was Saturday was the only day Caitlyn was going to be with us all day.  I wish she could have been with us at Zions.  When we got there it was already pretty packed and we couldn't find a parking spot.  We drove up the road a bit and were able to find a spot at the second shuttle stop.  We hopped on the shuttle and headed up to the last stop.
It was pretty cold and Wyatt didn't pack a sweatshirt so he brought the blanket from the car.  It was cute to see him share it with Hallee because she was really cold.
Keith and I looked at all of the trails and decided to start with the river walk trail.  It was at the last stop of the canyon and we worked our way down from there.
It was beautiful right off the bat and just kept getting more and more beautiful as we went.  They had a lot of places where you could go off the trail and go right down by the water.  These were our favorite spots. The trail was crowded so we liked to go down and enjoy the open space and explore.
Hallee stayed warm in my jacket.  The kids weren't very excited about going to Zions or hiking, but it didn't take them long to really start enjoying it.
Keith was in a great mood and kept us laughing with all of his poses.
It was just beautiful everywhere you looked.
We took so many pictures.
Hallee wanted to take some pictures of me and Keith.
The kids complained about hiking until they saw how much there was to explore.
We stopped every time they wanted to.  It was nice that we weren't in a hurry and we could just take our time.
It took me so long to go through my pictures because I took so many!  I will have to break this post up into two to fit them all.
The trail would get crowded every time another shuttle arrived. We would stand aside or go off the trail for a bit to let people pass so we could have the trail to ourselves again.
After a while it started to warm up and the kids didn't need the blanket or my jacket anymore.
There was always plenty of people around that we could ask to take our picture.
I loved seeing Hallee and Wyatt laugh and have fun together.

Beautiful pictures! That was a sweet picture of Wyatt sharing the blanket with Hallee. I'm glad it finally warmed up and you didn't need the jackets anymore. I'm so glad that Hallee and Wyatt enjoyed Zion's Park but I'm sorry that Caitlyn could only be with you that first day and that she didn't get to enjoy it like Hallee and Wyatt did! Keith's poses were great! It is beautiful there!! We haven't been there for years!
