Arizona

It's been a long time since we have gone to Arizona.  Life has been on hold for the last few years between job loss and mom.  The stars aligned and the kids had Fall break the same weekend that Cody was speaking in church, so we decided to drive up.  We invited dad to come with us and were so excited that he said yes. We drove out on Thursday. Wyatt had a ballroom retreat at the beginning of Fall break so he flew out Saturday morning.
Lori got free tickets from her friend to see Suffs at ASU on Friday night.
Lori and I had a great time.  The show was great and it was really fun to have a free night out.  The play is about  Women's suffrage.  I love the plays about history because I learn a lot and it makes me want to learn more.
On Saturday Wyatt and Keith had fun going on a drink run with Matt in the Razor.
Hallee was so excited to have Elena do her nails.
They turned out so cute! Hallee and Wyatt love Maizy.
They didn't have church until 1:30 PM.  It was so nice to sleep in and relax all morning. I sat outside and read and the weather was perfect.
I'm so glad we were there to hear Cody speak.  His talk was so good.  He is such a great guy and we have missed him.
Matt and Wyatt wore some of Cody's ties from Peru.

Keith is always so good about spending time with the kids. They had fun playing games while I took a Sunday nap!
We got grandpa talking one night and he told us stories about when he was young. It was really fun.
We had fun playing the What Do You Meme game that Lori made with our pictures.  We laughed a lot!
We loved having lots of time to visit and play games.
Monday night we had a barbecue and enjoyed the back yard.
We had fun playing corn hole.
Wyatt loves to hang out with uncle Matt.
It was fun to make smores.
Elena cut my hair on Monday. I was so grateful, I really wanted a haircut, but didn't want to go anywhere. She did a great job.
The pool was too cold, but Wyatt enjoyed the hot tub.
We were sad that Caitlyn couldn't come because she had to work and it was hard not to have Jonah there.  It also felt strange to have dad there without mom. I guess we have to get used to a lot of new normals.
We drove home on Tuesday.  Cody decided to come home with us and spend a few days in Utah to see some friends.  It was so fun to have him with us.  We had a great trip.  It was so nice to get away and relax.
