Jonah sent us a list of things he wanted us to pick up for Sawyer's birthday. Caitlyn helped me shop and we got everything and Wyatt and I took it over to her on her birthday. She loved it.
Wyatt's first big Lacrosse bruise. And I think I did pretty good on his haircut.
Wyatt and Sawyer at the football game on Senior night. Wyatt is looking so grown up and loving High School.
This last month has been so crazy that I haven't been able to get up to the mountains to see the Fall colors.
I talked Hallee into going up to Provo Canyon with me.
We tried to drive up Squaw Peak where we normally go and everything was all dried out and dead. I was so disappointed.
Hallee wasn't excited about it, but I talked her into driving up to Vivian Park and walking on the river trail.
We saw more colors down on the trail.
I'm sad I missed the peak of the colors. It was fun to go up there with Hallee.
After that I dropped Hallee off for Kenzie's birthday party. They went to Color Me Mine and then to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Hallee had a blast! Katie sent us this picture and said it was the next generation of BFF's.
Tiff had Hallee over the day mom passed away. I appreciated it so much and I think it was good for the girls to be together.
A few weekends ago it worked out for Katie and I to go to Tiff's for the evening. It was a fun night. The kids all love to hold Quincy. Those are two very cute boys.
Hallee and I went to Tessa's choir concert. It was fun to watch her. They sounded great.
Hallee had her choir concert last week. They sounded great. She has loved being in Aria this year.
Tessa and Tiff came to watch her. It was so nice of them.
We loved having grandpa with us. It has been really hard this last year not having mom at the kid's activities. We all miss her so much!
Dad came over for dinner before the concert. He told me that Wendy texted him and told him that a few years ago when there were devastating fires in Paradise, California mom called her because her in-laws are from there. Dave's parents didn't live there anymore, but his niece did. Mom asked if she could have her number. She called her and asked her how she could help her. Wendy's niece called her later and asked for mom and dad's address because she wanted to send a thank you card for the money mom had sent her. At the funeral Pam talked about how mom not only listened, but she remembered and checked in on people. Dad and I talked about how amazing that was that mom remembered where Dave's family was from and wanted to see if they needed help. I'm sure there are so many stories like this that we don't even know about. Mom is amazing. I miss her so much. It has been so hard to go on with life without her. If I could, I would probably just stay in bed all day. It's really hard to go to work and put a smile on my face when the grief is present all the time. Dad told Wendy to keep him in the loop with the Hawkins family because he loves them and she reassured him that he will always be apart of their family. Dad said that really meant a lot to him.
I got to take Mel's family pictures on Sunday. They are such a cute family. It's hard to believe Mel has five grandchildren and oh my goodness, they are so cute.
Elijah and Chelsey were so sweet to let me hold Isaiah before they left. He is adorable!
We finally took Tiff out for her birthday last night. It was great to catch up with Tiff, Katie and Audrey. I also loved holding Quincy!
