Life Lately

We invited Sawyer over to meet Cody while he was here.  We got pizza for dinner and played games. It was a lot of fun. 

Before Jonah left for his mission we were talking about Cody and Sawyer meeting when Cody got home. I joked with Jonah that Cody might steal his girl and Jonah said, "He can have her!" Sawyer was sitting right next to him and we all looked at him and in true Jonah fashion, he dug his heals in and said, "well if anyone is going to steal her, I want it to be Cody." Later he admitted he did not in fact want Cody to steal her, ha!  We like to tease him about it. I told Sawyer we had to send him a picture of Cody proposing and I would title it, "he can have her."

We forgot to tell Alisha so you can see her shocked face in the back ground when she saw this from the kitchen, ha!

Jonah laughed at the picture. He said he knew I would do that.  

Alisha came over after work and we played Jack Box games. 

It was so much fun.  We all laughed a lot.

After that Caitlyn, Cody and Alisha went to a haunted house. Sawyer had dance so she couldn't go. I'm glad she got to meet Cody.

Wyatt and Hallee went to a pumpkin patch that night for mutual.  Wyatt loved the haunted house.

Hallee was not a fan of the haunted house, but she had fun hanging out with her friends. 

Wyatt's haircut looked good. I'm always relieved when they are happy with their haircut.

On Tuesday I went to Mel's after work. All the girls were over with the kids. It was so fun. Chelsey was so nice and let me hold Isaiah for a long time while he slept.  He is so cute and I loved having him snuggle up on me while he slept. 

Elijah came over after work, it was fun to see him too. Isaiah woke up and he was even cuter awake.  He even smiled and laughed a little. It was so fun.  

He made lots of faces, ha! I only got a picture of Isaiah, but I loved seeing all the kids. Judah was walking around and smiling away.  Zariyah has such a cute personality. She has the cutest smile and will talk to me and laugh with me.  She thought it was pretty funny when I snorted like a pig.  Clara was down for a nap when I got there and it was so cute to watch her and Zariyah play when she woke up.  When Ofa and the kids left Clara sat on my lap so I could read her books.  I've never see a child who loves books as much as she does, she's so cute.  I got to hold Wesley for a minute and he is so cute. He is super chill and just smiles away.  It was so fun to spend that time with them. It was Mel's birthday so I took her to Cafe Rio for dinner.  It was great to spend time with her. We have spent at least one night a week together at mom's this last year and I have really missed that lately. 

Yesterday Keith and I went to the temple.  I always think about mom there and hope I will feel close to her. In the chapel they were playing "Families Can Be Together Forever" on the piano, that helped me feel close to mom. 

Last night we went to Tiff and Paul's and had a game night.  Katie and Ben came too and I loved holding Quincy while he slept. 

He just wanted to lay on my shoulder when he woke up, it was so fun.  We had a lot of fun playing games.  It was a much needed night out.

Hallee came with us and had fun holding Quincy and hanging out with the other kids.
