On Sunday I took Caitlyn and Jonah with me to my parent's ward for church. Keith had to teach primary and Wyatt loves nursery now so we didn't want to mess him up by taking him to a new one. I always love to visit my home ward. Caitlyn and Jonah bore the sweetest testimonies. After a family dinner and family home evening we did a birthday party for Wyatt. It is a few weeks early, but it is fun to do it with the whole family. His actual birthday is a week after we have our baby so I'm glad it worked to do the party early.
Another reason I wanted to do it early was I couldn't wait any longer to give him his motorcycle that we got him. My friend's boys have the same one and I knew he would love it. He was really excited when he saw it.
He was so fun to watch because he got excited about every present.

He loved opening the presents.
He was really excited with his new balls.
He also loved the animals in this barn, especially when he realized that they made noises.
We were having a really yummy brownie dessert that night so I decided to do that and save the birthday cake for his actual birthday.
He did really well with the candles. He didn't try to touch them and he blew them right out.
I love that smile!
Wyatt couldn't wait to get outside and ride his motorcycle. I can't believe he is almost two years old. It seems like we just barley celebrated his first birthday. It has been a great two years.
