We were at the store the other day and Wyatt said, "mom, I can pretend to be the dad when Keith is gone." Wyatt cracks me up. Last week we went on a walk to this park a few times. I was really proud of myself, I put off cleaning and other things I needed to do to take the kids to the park instead. Wyatt had so much fun. He kept telling me that he was a worker and had to work while we were there.
Hallee had fun climbing around. She wouldn't go on the slides or the swings. Funny girl. We brought our lunch and had a picnic both times we went. The weather has been so warm. I figured we better stop and enjoy it while we can.
Hallee was so cute reading to grandma. She was pretending to read the book by talking about the pictures. She put on quite a show for my mom and my sisters that day. She talked the whole time. She talks so much! She also hit me and called me stupid. She got a big reaction the first time she said stupid so now she yells it every time she gets mad. It sounds horrible coming out of her little mouth. I keep telling the older kids they have to be on their best behavior because Hallee watches everything they do.
Last week Caitlyn and Ataiya tried out for a play. I didn't really want Caitlyn to do it because it is a big time commitment, but I knew she would love it. We were thrilled that Caitlyn and Atiaya were both cast as Angels. Caitlyn is so excited!
Grace came over to play on Friday. Caitlyn and Grace are so similar. I love how much fun they have together.
Keith got a gift card to In-n-Out Burger so we went there for dinner.
On Saturday we all worked together to get the house clean and the yards done. After that we went swimming. It was so fun. Later that night Keith and I went and saw 'Meet the Mormons.' It was a great movie. They did a great job and you left feeling so good.
Last night me and Mel took the boys to a Jazz game. It was so much fun! Keith and Earl were so great and took Caitlyn and Ataiya to a cast meeting for their play.
We went early to watch the players warm up and get autographs. Jonah got two autographs on his hat.
It was such a fun night. I just love my nephews. I miss the good old days of being an awesome aunt before I had my own kids! Things change when you have your own kids, but I sure love my nieces and nephews. EJ and Elijah were so funny and so much fun to be around. I love seeing how much Jonah looks up to them. I was glad when EJ said that it was fun to go with me and he wanted to go again. I guess I still am an awesome aunt!
