Preschool

Wyatt had his first day of preschool today.  He has been so excited for it.  We put him in preschool at the fitness center this month.  I was really excited when I found out that our neighbor is one of the teachers.  The other teacher was really nice and I was really impressed with everything.
I was a little sad to send him off today.  I have been having a ton of anxiety lately and sending him off to preschool didn't help.  I'm excited for him to go and have fun, but I'm really sad about him growing up and leaving me!  I think that is part of the reason I dragged my feet about finding him a preschool, I'm not ready for him to grow up.  I feel like I'm a little jipped with him because he will go to school right after he turns five.  I had more time with Caitlyn and Jonah.
I know he is ready though so I have to let him go.  Last night I told him that I didn't want him to leave me and he said, "you have dad, but I have to go preschool."
Oh man, these two melt my heart.  Some days they push me to my limits, but I love having them home with me.  Hallee missed Wyatt while he was gone.  She kept saying she wanted to go to preschool.
Wyatt looked a little nervous when I dropped him off, but he said goodbye without a problem.  I found out they have an extra hour for the kids who are going to Kindergarten next year.  It is only $10 more a month.  I asked Wyatt if he wanted to stay for it and he said no.  I came back at 11:00 AM and asked him again if he wanted to stay for another hour and he said, "no, I want to go home."  I was surprised.  He said he liked preschool, but he doesn't want to stay "for longer."
We went to McDonalds after for lunch.  I couldn't resist when these two cuties asked for ice cream cones!
I think Wyatt is learning a ton with his online preschool, but I am concerned with his writing.  I try to get him to write and he won't.  I know he can write his name, but he won't do it for me.  I was so happy to see that he wrote his name on his paper.  I was really impressed with the preschool.  Assuming Wyatt likes it I think I will put him in again.
