Damon Doyle Barth

Damon Doyle Barth was born on May 12th.  Tiff had a C-section scheduled for Thursday, but she went into labor on Tuesday so they went ahead with the C-section that day.  Damon had to stay in the NICU on oxygen for three days while he learned to breath on his own.  Poor guy and poor mom and dad, that would be so hard!  I think it was on Thursday when Damon took matters into his own hands and pulled out his oxygen and has been doing great ever since.  On Friday, I went down to the hospital to meet him.
He is so adorable.  I loved holding him while I visited with Tiff and Paul.  It has been a while since I have had a niece/nephew when I didn't have a baby of my own.  I can see why women go all baby hungry when they are finished having kids.  There is nothing like holding a newborn!
My mom was there when I got there and she didn't give Damon up easily.  She hadn't been able to hold him while he was on oxygen.
I'm so glad Tiff and Paul got at least one day with their baby in the hospital.  I would have a baby over and over again just for that special time, it is the best!  Tiff was doing great and recovering well.  I'm so glad!
We were praying hard for Damon all week.  When Jonah said the prayer he said, "pretty please help Damon to be okay and bless Tiff to know that he will be okay."  It was so sweet.  I'm so excited to have a new nephew.  I love being an aunt.
I have to throw in a couple of other random pictures, I am trying to get all caught up before we go on vacation next week.  I love this one of Keith and Hallee watching the kid's soccer game.
Yesterday it was wet and cold while we watched the soccer game and Hallee was not thrilled about sharing a chair with Wyatt.
It has been so rainy these past few weeks.  I mowed the lawn on Thursday because it was supposed to rain all weekend, so I knew Keith wouldn't get a chance.  Wyatt and Hallee had fun playing outside while I worked. I let them play with water bottles so they were wet and muddy when they were finished, but they had a great time. Wyatt said that the stuff in the bucket was "ant juice."
