No Hallee, boys are cool and girls are pretty

Wyatt is always quick to correct everyone, especially Hallee.  She wanted to be cool, but he explained to her that she couldn't be cool because she is a girl and they are pretty.
One day last week Jonah said he was going to teach Wyatt how to read, so we pulled out our Sam books. The boys were so excited to come up and show me that Wyatt could read the books on his own.  I knew he was close, but I was surprised at how well he did with them.  The Upstart pre-school he has done this year has taught him a ton.  He loves to learn new things and show off what he has learned.
Caitlyn was excited to have a grandma date a couple of weeks ago.  They went to the fabric store and picked out fabric so they could sew Caitlyn some new pajamas.  You would have thought my mom was taking Caitlyn to Disneyland by how excited she was.
They weren't able to finish it in one day so Caitlyn went last week to finish them up.  It was really good for Caitlyn to see all of the steps for sewing.  She loves to sew and she loves that she shares that with grandma.  I say this all of the time, but my mom really deserves a grandma of the year award.
While Caitlyn was off on her grandma date these boys helped dad clean up the yard.  There was a lot of weeding, mowing and cleaning up to do.  Keith said they both worked so hard.
They did find time to have some fun too.
They ran through sprinklers to stay cool and had a blast spending the whole day outside.
The boys were all exhausted and starving when they finished up so I sent them to Chuck-a-rama for dinner.  Keith said they all ate a ton and had a blast.  Keith loves taking the kids places so he thought it was great.  Taking kids to a buffet doesn't sound like a relaxing evening to me, but I'm glad Keith enjoyed it!
Hallee loves to climb on everyone.
The kids love to climb on top of each other and then they always want me to take a picture.  Cute kids!
