Keith took great care of me for Mother's day. I told him that I didn't want any presents I just wanted my house clean. I'm so burned out with cleaning and it seems like no matter how much I do it that things are never clean for more than a minute.
On Friday night, Audrey and I went to Tiff's house for one last hurrah before Tiff had her baby. It was a lot of fun and a great break for me. When I came home the house was spotless. It was so great! They gave me yellow and blue flowers too, I love them!
Keith had to work on Saturday. It rained all day and the kids soccer games were all cancelled. We were glad because Keith didn't want to miss them and I wasn't looking forward to taking them all myself. Kristin came over and cut my hair on Saturday. It feels so good to have it short and thinned again. When Keith got home we went over and visited Keith's parents and took his mom a present.
After that we went over to my parents to visit and bring my mom her present. All of the kids watched a movie and Keith and I were able to visit with my parents. We usually don't get that quiet time with them, so it was really nice.
On Sunday, Keith and the kids brought me breakfast in bed and I got a nap before church. The kids sang during Sacrament Meeting and Caitlyn gave a sweet talk about mothers in primary. Keith put dinner in the crockpot before church. We came home and ate dinner and then we relaxed and watched "Meet the Mormons" together. It was really nice staying home this year. I am so grateful to be a mom. I feel like I come up short all of the time, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I yell too much, get frustrated too often, but I love each one of my kids so much. They each are an answer to our prayers.
