Kindergartner of the year!

You are looking at the Kindergartner of the year!  We got an e-mail from his teacher this weekend and this is what it said:

Hi Loosli Family,

Congratulations! Wyatt has been selected as one of the Kindergarteners of the Year! He is so very deserving of this award.  Wyatt not only excels academically but he is kind to all his class mates, seeks out those who need a friend, takes the initiative to do things that need to be done without being asked and is just a wonderful person! I know that Wyatt is loved and taught well at home by caring parents and it shows wherever he goes. I've been blessed to have had Wyatt in class! You and Wyatt are invited to the Final Assembly on Friday, May 26, at 9:00 am in the gym where he will be recognized.  If you want to keep it a surprise for the assembly, let me know. :) Thanks for raising such a great boy!

I can't keep something like that a secret so I told Wyatt right away!  Wyatt is out of school for Kindergarten testing so this morning after I dropped Hallee off at pre-school Keith and I took Wyatt out to breakfast to celebrate!  Wyatt was thrilled to have mom and dad all to himself.  I'm so proud of Wyatt.  He has grown and matured so much this year.  He works so hard to do the right thing and he is so kind to everyone and is a great friend. We have been thrilled to see Wyatt flourish in Kindergarten, he is definitely ready for first grade.  I'm getting a little sad thinking about him being gone all day next year, I will miss him.  We had fun spending the morning together after we took Keith back to work.  He is such a fun boy.
