Evening on the beach

We packed a dinner and took it down to Otter Crest beach.  We had so much fun playing on the beach and in the water! 

We were all in our swimming suits because we were planning on going swimming right after.  

I could watch my kids play on the beach all day.  I love their big smiles and I love to hear their laughs and screams as they run from the water or get hit by a wave. 

The weather cooperated so well.  We had great weather the whole time we were at Otter Crest.  It was overcast sometimes, but it was never windy, it was great! 

The kids had so much fun playing in the water.  

Hallee is such a crack up!  She loves to make funny faces and say things to make us laugh. 

I was surprised that Hallee was playing in the ocean.  She was holding up her robe for a while and then she wanted it off so she could really get in the water. 

Keith and I had fun just sitting back and watching the kids play. 

Hallee had a blast in the water.  It was really cold, but she didn't seem to mind.

Jonah was hilarious.  He would scream and run every time a wave came. 

Caitlyn, Jonah and Hallee had a blast in the water.  They were all smiles and laughs! 

Wyatt played in the water a little bit, but he had more fun in the sand and the stream. 

Keith went in the water with them for a little while. 

This is the life, we love the ocean! 

Caitlyn went all the way in the water, Jonah went up to his waste.  Hallee got really wet and she was freezing, we had to put her back in her robe until we went up to the pool. 

Ah, look at that perfect view!  

Wyatt loves the stream on the beach.  He found all sorts of fun things to play in there. 

Jonah and Wyatt loved racing their sticks down the stream.  They would really get into it.  They would chase the sticks down and yell and cheer for the winner.  I loved watching that. 

After that we went up to the pool.  I love that the pool overlooks the ocean! 

We had the pool all to ourselves. It was the perfect way to end the perfect day.
