Yaquina Head

Tuesday was my favorite day of our family vacation.  We did so many fun things that day.  We started out by going to Yaquina Head.  It was beautiful!
We had fun looking at the light house.  The light house was closed so we couldn't go inside of it.
I loved the times that we were out exploring because there was no fighting!
This picture makes me laugh!
After we looked at the light house we walked down to the beach.  Gary and Julie call this Tennis Ball Beach because the rocks are all as big as tennis balls.
The rocks were a little slippery so we had to walk carefully.
Hallee was a little nervous about the rocks at first, but she was a good sport about it.
The boys had fun climbing the big rocks.
At the bottom of the rocks there are a lot of tide pools to explore.  We were all excited when we saw this big star fish.
Everyone had fun looking around for animals in the tide pools.
I loved looking up at the light house from the beach.
The kids liked sticking their fingers in the sea anemones and watching them close up.
The kids loved playing in the rocks too.
I loved seeing Caityn and Keith walking and talking together.  It was a beautiful walk to and from the car. It was great to spend the morning exploring and seeing new things.
