It has been so hot this week! We heard about a huge new splash pad in Bluffdale and decided to check it out on Wednesday. I met Mel near there and she took Caitlyn to their house for Amarie's birthday. Caitlyn was thrilled that she gets to stay for a couple of nights. She has been looking forward to spending a lot of time with Amarie this summer.
The splash pad lived up to the hype, it was huge! It was really crowded, but it was so big that it wasn't that bad. It was tricky to keep track of the kids though. I stayed with Hallee and made sure I could spot the boys every few minutes.
The kids all loved the little river that is behind Hallee. Next time we will bring some boats or ducks to race down it. Jonah and Wyatt found some wood chips to race down the river.
Hallee got right in the water and had a blast.
There is a big park for big kids and a small park designed for young kids. Jonah and Wyatt loved this spinning thing.
Wyatt is at a great age. He is old enough to keep up with the big kids for the most part, but young enough to still enjoy smaller things.
Hallee thought it was hilarious to kick the water.
We missed having Caitlyn there with us. I'm sure we will go back a few times this summer.
Katie and the kids met us there. The kids were excited to play with their friends! Jonah and Kiara had quite the water fight.
Katie and I stayed with Hallee and Kenzie and the other four ran around together. Hallee loved this picture of her throwing her cup of water in the air.
Hallee loved this little park. She liked when we would come to her window and order food from her. It was a great way to keep cool and have fun. The wind would blow the water on me to keep me cool.
