I love summer!

I love summer.  I love that we have no schedules and we can just pick up and do fun things. Last weekend we went to the parkway for a walk.  The kids weren't excited about going, but they got excited when we found this perfect spot to play by the river.
We had fun throwing rocks in the water.  We walked all the way to the lake this time.  We love the parkway.
One morning I was going for a walk and Hallee and Wyatt wanted to come along.  Wyatt did awesome and rode his bike for 3 miles!
Emilee called one day last week to see if we wanted to go to the splash pad.  The girls had fun drawing with chalk.
The boys spent most of the time playing baseball.
We went to Lagoon on the 4th.  The Beck's were there for a few hours.
Wyatt was nervous about going on Rattle Snake Rapids, but he went anyway and ended up liking it.
Hallee loves riding rides with Kenzee.
It was such a hot day.  The heat has been unbearable lately.  We spent a few hours in Lagoon-A-Beach.  The water felt so good.
After Lagoon-A-Beach we rode some more rides and watched a show.  I was ready to go a few hours later.  It was so hot and I think the heat was making me sick.  Everyone else was ready to go too.
Hallee and Tessa started dance last week. Hallee is in heaven.  We loved having Tiff and the kids over for lunch after dance.
Tiff took Hallee home and we took Rockwell with us to see a movie with Mel.
I love these tough boys!  They all love to kiss their muscles.
We stopped for ice cream before we went and saw "Diary of a Wimpy Kid."  The kids all liked the show and Mel and I thought it was pretty funny too.
We brought Amarie home on Thursday and she stayed over night.  We all went swimming on Friday.  We went to the outdoor pool and it felt so good.  I didn't get a picture of Caitlyn and Amaire, but I had fun with these three.
We loved the outdoor pool so much that we decided to go back on Saturday.
It is always more fun when Keith can come with us.   We had fun swimming and relaxing after a busy Saturday morning.  Pioneer Trek is keeping Keith and I very busy!  I think it will be great when we get there, but there is so much stress before hand!  They asked Caitlyn and I to speak in Sacrament meeting on Sunday about camp.  Caitlyn did great and I think my talk went well. This has been a busy summer!

Your family is just so beautiful Al. We should invite ourselves to the parkway with you after trek is finished. :)
