Keeping busy

Jonah has soccer practice a few mornings a week.  I usually go walk during half of his practice and then I run errands for the last half.  Wyatt came with me one morning and played at the park while I walked. 

Christian had his tonsils out this week so we put together a basket full of activities he could do while he was resting and got him his favorite ice cream.  Jonah was excited to take it over to him. 

Tuesday night we all went to see "Hotel Transylvania 3."  We all liked it, there were a lot of funny parts.  Wyatt was laughing so hard during the movie, it was really cute. 

Last week we got a new car.  We have hated the versa since we bought it . We thought we were being smart by going cheap, but it has had a lot of problems since we drove it off the lot.  Keith got a raise a couple of weeks ago and we decided it was time to trade it in.  Keith spent all afternoon and evening last Thursday test driving cars and settled on this Dodge Journey.  It is nice that it can fit our whole family.  We all love the new car!  Keith usually takes it to work, but I have had fun driving it sometimes too. 

Paul and Tiff have been doing a ton of work in their yard.  They got all of their bushes pulled out and new flowers and bushes planted and this week they got the rocks delivered for the flower beds.  I went over to help on Tuesday and Wednesday.  I took Hallee and Wyatt and the kids played while Tiff and I worked.  It was hard work!  We would shovel the rocks into a wheel barrow and then push that over to the flower beds.  It felt good to work hard and it was fun to visit with Tiff while we did it.  It felt great to see the big pile of rock disappear and see how good it looked.   Tiff and Paul have done so much work and it is looking great!

Cute Jackson!  He spends most of the day staring out the window. 

Wednesday night we did a version of Nailed It for combined YW.  The girls loved it.  Caitlyn was so excited for it she could hardly stand it. 

She did a great job making her cupcakes look like corn on the cob.

Hallee came with us because Keith was at a soccer camp with Wyatt and Jonah was at scouts. 

Hallee loved it and she loved all of the attention that she got from everyone. 

There was a free soccer clinic at the Royals field in Herriman.  Keith took Wyatt and Rockwell.  Keith said they didn't' really teach the kids a lot, but they had fun playing soccer games. 

The boys loved it and had a great time.

They got to meet some players and get autographs after it was over.

I'm glad the boys got to go and had so much fun.
