Christmas Eve

We had our traditional Christmas eve with my family.  I've always loved Christmas eve.  I remember being so excited for it and now my kids are so excited for the same traditions that I was.
After we ate a lot of good food we watched the Nativity.
Alexys is always so good with Hallee.
Cute boys!
It's so fun to spend time with cousins at grandma's house!
Dad reads the nativity out of this bible every year.
Hallee was an angel.  She was a bit of a sassy angel and kept walking away.
The kids love to be donkeys or "honkeys" as Damon calls them! Ha!
Wyatt loved having Dante as his donkey.
That is a good looking group!
After that Jonah read a sweet story that my mom knew she couldn't get through without crying.
Then it was time for Christmas Bingo.  The kids love this and they love their prizes!
The adults have fun playing bingo together. Every year we make the same jokes, it never gets old.
After that it was back downstairs for the grab box.
The kids were all happy with their books!
They can't wait to start reading.
I love this picture of Wyatt and Rockwell reading their books together.
The adults all love their gift cards!
Mel had me snap a picture of their family.  They sure are a good looking bunch and so much fun to be with.  They had us for Christmas this year and totally spoiled us.  Mel got each kid a present, which they loved and Keith and I new camping chairs and a game!  We sure felt loved and spoiled!
Mom and dad opened their gifts from us that night.  We got dad a hiking back pack and mom a canvas that says, "It will all work out."
The kids were excited to open their presents from grandma and grandpa.
They all loved their presents and got spoiled as usual. Mom and dad are so generous with all of us and we really appreciate it!
Poor dad, he works so hard and never gets enough sleep!  It was a great night.  It was nice that we started early and we didn't have anything else that day so we could relax and enjoy the time instead of rushing.
