Sledding

Since we didn't get much snow last winter, I decided we better take advantage of the snow while we have it.  When the kids got home from school on Monday we headed out to go sledding.
I was relieved when everyone was happy and excited to go.
I picked up a new sled that morning and the kids loved it.
We went to a small hill that wasn't too far away.
We need to find a bigger hill around here next time, but this one was just right for a quick sledding trip.
The hill was just the right size for Hallee.  She pretended to be asleep while she went down the hill!
I love that cute smile!
Hallee was a little nervous at first, but that didn't last too long.
I love trying to capture their faces while they are coming down the hill.
At first Hallee would drag her feet to make sure she didn't go too fast, but she realized it was more fun to put her feet in the sled.
It took Caitlyn a while to talk Hallee into riding with her.
Wyatt and Jonah had a blast sledding together.
They built a jump, but their sled kept turning and they kept missing it.
They were so happy when they finally went over the jump!
Cute boys!
They thought it was pretty funny when Wyatt fell off the sled!
After I took some pictures of the kids I took a turn going down the hill with each of the kids.
I love doing activities like this with the kids! It makes me feel young again!
We stayed for an hour or so before everyone was ready to go home.
I don't love winter, but there are some fun things about it!

I'm glad you found a hill close by and that the children all had so much fun! Great job going down the hill with each of them Allison!
