Last week we spent Wednesday night doing our sibling gifts. The kids have been working hard to earn money and shop for each other. We try to make it a special night and really focus on Christ and giving. We started by watching a really neat video that the church put out about what the world would be like if we didn't have a Savior, it was very thought provoking. We talked about it for a while and ended up watching it twice. It was a great way to start the night.
Caitlyn gave Jonah his present first. He loves the crazy socks that everyone is wearing and Caitlyn found some Ramen noodle ones for him that she knew he would love.
Jonah picked out a wireless speaker for Caitlyn. He knew she would love that because she loves to listen to music. He also bought her a big pack of gum and said, "that's because I know you can chew gum at school." I love that they all put a lot of thought into their gifts.
Caitlyn gave Jonah a big hug! Jonah likes to look like he's in pain when people hug him!
They were both excited that the other one loved their presents.
Hallee had Wyatt and she wanted to get him a penguin because she knows that he loves penguins.
She also got him a set to make his own bouncy balls. He loved it and she was so excited to give it to him!
Wyatt picked out window art for Hallee to paint. Keith took the boys shopping and he said it took them forever to find a present because they wanted to make sure it was just right. Hallee loved it!
Hallee and Wyatt couldn't wait to get started on their projects!
We helped Hallee and Wyatt with their projects and then we all played Bingo. It was a great night. This has become one of our favorite nights of the year. I'm so glad the kids love it as much as I do.

That is such a great tradition and so well thought out with the video about where we'd be without Christ! I love the excitement on their faces and the way they pick out the perfect gift for the one whose name they have! Great job!!
I love this. I might want to copy this tradition.
