I love the Sunday before Christmas, it is the best Sunday of the year. We had a beautiful Christmas program with beautiful songs and messages. The primary sang The Nativity song and it sounded amazing.
We hosted the Loosli family Christmas party this year. Keith has been missing his mom a lot lately. He wanted to make the same Christmas eve meal that she always made. After church we all worked together to make the dinner. I was so proud of the kids, they jumped right in and didn't complain. It took us a couple of hours, but we were able to get everything ready so we weren't rushing around right before everyone got here.
We made pot roast, ham, sour cream potatoes, blueberry muffins, veggies and dip, crackers and a cheeseball. Pat always made all of that on Christmas eve.
We took the adult picture before Tammy and Kurtis got there. It was a little crowded in the house, but not terrible.
Keith's family always sings The Twelve Days of Christmas.
Jacob, Wyatt and Jonah were five golden rings and nine ladies dancing. They had a lot of fun and made us all laugh.
After that we exchanged presents. Katy and Brent have two younger boys, Brandon and Jaden. Our house is not baby proof anymore, they were all over the place. Poor Hallee and Wyatt didn't know what to do when they were going through their room and messing up their stuff.
Kirk is in jail, so he wasn't there this year. Garth was happy to have the family together and he really enjoyed the sour cream potatoes!
