While we were away

Keith offered to keep Dante so that my parents could go to the funeral.  They had a fun weekend.  They played lots of video games, went to Hang time, ate out and played in the snow.  Kyle joined them on Saturday for dinner and then came and fixed our computer and stayed to watch a movie with them.  Keith loved having him there.

Earl kept all the girls.  Caitlyn really wanted to stay there too and Earl was nice enough to let all of them stay for a few days.  They had a blast!

Cody and Elena joined them for games one night.  Caitlyn was in cousin heaven!

Lori took the kids to do baptisms at the Salt Lake temple.  We had planned to join them, but since I left town it didn't work out.  I love this picture, so beautiful!

We got a lot of snow while we were down.  Hallee was so excited about the snow and helped Keith shovel.

Keith helped Hallee make a snowman. 

On Friday our flight was delayed because we had to wait in line for the plane to get deiced.  We sat on the plane for a long time!  We were all starving when we finally got to our hotel.  It was Matt's birthday so mom and dad took us out to dinner.   

Me, Mel and Matt shared a hotel room.  The first night Matt slept on the couch cushions on the floor.  Tiff called it his special birthday bed and we all laughed and laughed because it was so late and I still think it's pretty funny.  It was nice to have this time with my family.

On Sunday Keith drove down and picked us up from the airport while Lori stayed with the kids at my parents.  Elena and Wyatt made a snowman for us to see when we pulled up. 

We debated on going straight home, but I'm so glad we decided to stay and visit.  I get very anxious when I travel so I was feeling pretty overwhelmed when I had made the decision, but I felt much better when we got to my parents and the traveling was behind us. 

We had fun visiting, napping and eating yummy food.  We love when Matt and Lori are in town.
