New Years Day

On New Years Day we all slept in and then we loaded up the cars and went up to the mountains.
It was really pretty up there.
We love spending time with Matt and Lori!
Hallee helped Lori and Cody get the fire going.
Matt brought the Razor up.  It was so fun!
Jonah was thrilled that Matt let him have a turn to drive it. I was pleasantly surprised with how cautious he was.
Caitlyn loved driving the Razor.  She drove it with Matt, but then she wanted to take me and Keith on a ride to show us how well she drove.
We took turns sitting by the fire and going for rides.
We roasted hot dogs for dinner and made smores.
Caitlyn and Jonah kept wanting to drive the razor.  Jonah offered Hallee $2 to say she wanted him to take her on a ride.
Elena is always so good to Hallee.
Hallee and Wyatt loved throwing sticks and brush into the fire.
They loved to see the fire get bigger.
Keith and I went out on a ride together and took turns driving.
There were so many pretty views.  The sun kept going behind the clouds and it looked so pretty.
The sky was beautiful as the sun started to go down.
Cody, Jonah and Elena were up on a hill and Matt decided he wanted to drive up and scare them.
Caitlyn hopped in with him and they drove up there and scared the kids and then they all hopped in and Matt took them for a crazy ride up and down the hill a few times.  They were screaming and laughing.
Lori and I said the kids had to have helmets and buckle in if Matt was going to drive crazy like that. We are party poopers!
I'm trying to get in the pictures more, so here I am with these two cuties.
We all liked riding in the razor, but I think driving it was everyone's favorite thing.
I have to admit, it's pretty fun to drive.
I love the mountains.
Caitlyn and I were trying different settings on my phone.
I love that Caitlyn is always up for a picture.  She sure is a beauty.
The sunset was so pretty.
It was so beautiful to watch the sun finish setting as we drove home.
