New York City Day 2

I loved Hamilton so much that I wanted to see Wicked, Kristin was happy to see it again so we looked for tickets.  We were able to get tickets for the 2 PM show on Saturday.  We slept in and then got lunch and went over to the show.  It snowed all day Saturday so we knew we wouldn't be able to do what we had planned, so it was a great day to see Wicked.
Wicked was amazing!  I'm not a huge fan of the Wizard of Oz, so I haven't had a big desire to see it.  Keith saw it years ago in Chicago and he loved it.  It was so good.  I loved the story and the acting, singing and music was so good.   I'm so glad we went to the shows, they were one of my favorite things that we did.
We were hoping to go to the Empire State building that night, but it was so foggy, so it wouldn't be a good night for the view.
We walked down to Rockefeller Center instead.  It was hard to avoid puddles because it had been snowing most of the day.  Our feet were pretty wet by the time we got home that night. Here I am in front of Radio City Music Hall all bundled up.
I loved this fountain, it looked so pretty with the snow and the trees with the lights on them.
It would have been fun to ice skate at Rockefeller Center, but our feet were freezing by this point.
I have seen Rockefeller Center on TV and movies a lot so it was fun to see it in person.
I love all of the flags they have outside.
Here is 30 Rockefeller Plaza.  We went to the top of the Rock on Monday morning, it was too foggy that night.  This building has the Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live and NBC news shows. It has lots of shops and food places inside too.
The building looked pretty all lit up in the fog.
Kristin said, "Oh I need to show you the church."  I thought she meant the LDS church that is also the temple.  When we got there I was really surprised by how big it was and it didn't look like the pictures I had seen.  I took some pictures of it and then we finally figured out that I was confused.  It is actually St. Patrick's Cathedral.
It is over 140 years old.  It is a beautiful building.
We went inside and it was beautiful inside as well.  They were having mass so we didn't stay long, but I'm glad we got to see the inside.
We walked by Bryant Park on our way to dinner.  We had a late dinner at a barbecue place that Kristin used to love when she lived there. It was good and it was nice to be out of the snow and sit down.  After dinner we went back to the hotel.  It was still snowing and our feet were cold and wet.  We decided to get to bed early because the next day was going to be sunny and dry so we had a lot to fit in.

Wow the Rock is so tall and so is the empire state building!! I really want to see Wicked now and actually I have for a long time so I'm glad you got to see it. I don't blame you for not skating at Rockefeller Plaza when your feet were wet and cold. It all looks so amazing! Thanks for sharing the pictures!
