Birthday girl

Caitlyn woke up excited for her birthday. I think she had accepted the fact that she would be home all day and decided to make the best out of it.  Katie and Kiara sent her crumbl cookies!  We all enjoyed those.  That was so thoughtful of them.
I put a post on Instagram and Facebook and asked people to reach out to Caitlyn to help make her birthday special.  Holly and her kids came over and wrote Caitlyn a message with chalk and left her a note and a painted rock.  Someone else wrote a message too, but we aren't sure who that was from.
Megan and the kids dropped off ice cream for Caitlyn.  She got a lot of messages and calls and it made Caitlyn's day and made my mama heart so happy!
Tiff sent my kids these flow rings and they have had so much fun with them.  She also sent Caitlyn some Tennis scrunchies.  I'm so grateful for all of the people who reached out to Caitlyn and made her feel special.
Keith took Caitlyn out driving.  I pulled up next to them to ask a question.  She loves driving and is doing great! We were hoping she could get her permit, but they aren't doing that right now because of the COVID-19, so she will have to wait.

Caitlyn wanted to open her presents from her siblings before lunch. Hallee gave her $5 and a face mask.  Hallee is always so generous.
They had cute ambient lights on clearance on Walmart.com so I asked Wyatt if he wanted to get Caitlyn one.  He was excited and picked out an avocado for her.  He thought she would love it and he was right!
Jonah picked out a candle for Caitlyn.  She loves it.
I love to see the kids pick out things that they know their siblings will love.
Caitlyn loved all of them, they know her well!
Caitlyn chose Taco Bell for lunch.  That night I made Crispy Cheddar Chicken for dinner.  Caitlyn loves it and requested that for her birthday dinner.  I may have had a break down when she told me that she wasn't feeling well and didn't want to eat dinner.  I think it was just a sick stomach from eating to much junk that day.  After my breakdown she ate and luckily we were able to laugh about it later that night.  I think I'll blame that breakdown on Corona and being quarantined!
Caitlyn was excited to open her presents from us.  She wanted new decorations for her room. She was excited to get a new rug.
She also wanted a tapestry to hang above her bed.
She was really excited about all of her presents.
We also got her the duvet cover she wanted.
Caitlyn loves to decorate her room!
Elena sent Caitlyn a present.
She loved the markers!
Wyatt wanted to light the candles.
Caitlyn asked if she could make her own birthday cake.  I love that she loves to bake.
That night we helped her put all of her stuff up in her room.
She put her lights over her tapestry.  I'm pretty sure she has the nicest room in the house!
The birthday kid always gets to choose an activity with mom and dad.  Caitlyn wanted to put her room together and I helped her with her boss baby shrine. She loves the Boss Baby show and has been coloring pictures to hang in her room.  She is so funny!  I think she is very happy with her room.  Despite being quarantined for her birthday, I think she had a great day.

What a great post since I got to see what Caitlyn got for her birthday and see her beautiful room with all the fun stuff you all gave her. It does look great! How nice of people to do some sweet things for her! I'm so glad that she had a great day despite the quarantine! It's so great that your children try so hard to get what their siblings like so much for their gifts! You've trained them well so good job!
