Family Pictures

It was time for a new family picture.  I thought I would try our luck with the tripod again. I am very picky with how I look in pictures so I want to do them myself.

We decided at the last minute to go to Murray Park on Sunday and take them.

I'm not good at coordinating outfits, but it came together and I was really happy with the clothes.

I love this picture!  Unfortunately the lighting wasn't good (I still don't know what I'm doing) and the quality isn't great.  I'm hoping I can make it work to print up the 8x10 I want. I just love it.  Everyone looks great and is smiling, that never happens with four kids!

I caught this shot while I was taking some test shots.  I thought it was funny!

Hallee didn't want to cooperate a couple of times, but for the most part all of the kids were awesome!  I couldn't believe how well they cooperated.

Look at these kids.  They are so beautiful.  Sometimes I like to stare at pictures of my kids because I can't get over how cute they are!

Caitlyn loved having her picture taken.  This girl loves to smile and pose.  She is so beautiful.

Jonah said he didn't like his clothes (I think he secretly did) and kept saying he looked like a jerk.  I don't think he knows what jerk means.  I can't believe how photogenic Jonah is becoming.  He has always been so handsome, but it is hard to capture it with the camera. 

Wyatt was either flapping his arms around or standing stiff.  Wyatt is such a cute kid!

Hallee smiles and looks at the camera, but never at the same time!  She is such a pretty girl.

It turned out to be a great day.  The kids were so excited to have a picnic after pictures.  Mel brought her boys up after for some pictures.  The kids loved playing with their cousins. I love the pictures, but it was tough for me to realize I still have a ton to learn about photography!
