Oh no, the stinky wizard!

Hallee cracks me up.  She has the best imagination.  She is always being chased by wizards or ogres!  She also likes to sing in her back pack and underwear!
I love lazy summer days.  One rainy day the kids decided we should do all of our puzzles.  We all had fun working on these most of the day.
We have had such a fun summer, I don't want it to end.  Caitlyn and Jonah have had fun playing with friends and I have loved having them home.  Last week Caitlyn went to Kiara's birthday party.  She was thrilled that they were going to get their nails done.  I went and got a pedicure while they got their nails done, it was great!
On the 24th we went to Beck's for a fun night with them and the Johnsons.  I didn't even bring my camera, but I got a few pictures on my phone.  Char brought these big bubbles for the kids and they were a hit!
All of the kids loved them.
We had fun eating, playing, visiting and watching fireworks!
On Saturday Paige got baptized!  Caitlyn and I have been going with the missionaries to teach her for a while now.  I have loved getting to know Paige.  She is such a sweet girl and we love having her in activity days.  Her great grandparents are members and she decided she wanted to take the discussions.  Her mom is a member, but hasn't been to church in years and her dad is not a member.  I'm so impressed that Paige wants to learn about the gospel and comes to church on her own every week.  She always sits with us and has fun going to primary with Caitlyn.  They asked me to give the baptism talk a few days before the baptism.  I was a little nervous, but I think it went well.  Her parents are really nice and it meant a lot that they would ask me.  It was a very special day and I'm so glad we got to be a part of it.

Summer fun

We have gone swimming a few times lately.
One day we took the activity day girls swimming.
Keith and the kids came along with us.
Caitlyn loves having Paige in activity days with her!
I drove all of the activity day girls home and then our family stayed and swam inside together.  It was a lot of fun.
Last week the kids had their track party at the West Jordan pool.  They were all excited to go swimming again.
Caitlyn, Amarie and Ataiya had a great time!  I love summer!

Camp

Jonah was so excited for Scout Camp this year.  They went to the twilight, so he didn't get home until 10 PM every night.
They combined our ward with a few others for scouts.  It is great to have more kids!
Jonah loved camp.  They had sports and Olympics one day.  He loved playing flag football and swimming.
He also got to go canoeing and fishing.  I was glad that people put pictures up on Facebook so I could see Jonah in action.
Jonah also loved shooting bee-bee guns and bow and arrows.
Jonah said they had to eat different things that they found in the wild.  He loved going both days!
Jonah also got to go to French camp at school for a week.  He loved seeing his teachers and his friends.  They did a lot of art and cooking.  He loved it.

I feel like I'm the mom!

The day after we went to Seven Peaks I woke up and felt like I had been hit by a bus.  I have never been so sick in my life.  I couldn't move and my whole body ached.  I had a headache and a fever.  It was awful.  I called Caitlyn in and told her I would pay her $5 if she would take care of the kids all day.  She was thrilled.  She took good care of me too.  She kept saying, "I feel like I'm the mom."
I was down for four days.  I did what I had to do, but I felt horrible.  The kids were so good.  They played well together and tried to take care of things so I could rest.  On Friday they put together a show for me to try and help me feel better.
It was so cute.  Caitlyn sang and Hallee danced.
Hallee sang some songs too.
Wyatt was so cute on the guitar.
Jonah and Caitlyn carried Wyatt around.  It was all so cute and so sweet.  I'm so glad my family took such good care of me!

Seven Peaks

I'm going out of order on here because I got behind, but oh well.  My mind feels like that a lot lately.  I can't seem to keep anything straight.  I'm getting more and more scared that I'm going to develop dementia very early in life!
A couple of weeks ago we got free passes for Seven Peaks.  We had enough to take Mel's family with us.  My kids were excited!
I finally feel like my kids are at good ages for Seven Peaks.  We had a lot of fun.  Keith ended up taking them back one evening while I was sick because the kids loved it so much.  We ended up buying the passes.  Now we need to find time to go back, summer is going by too fast!
Wyatt liked the wave pool.
Hallee was not a fan of the wave pool.  Wyatt and Hallee both liked going in the lazy river with me.  They love floating around with their puddle jumpers on.  Those puddle jumpers have been life savers!
Caitlyn and Amarie had fun in the wave pool.  After that they went on the slides with Ataiya.
Jonah had a great time with the boys.  Don't you love the random guy who photo bombed us!
The older kids went around by themselves and I stayed with the little two.
I got to see them do a few things and they always looked like they were having fun!
Wyatt is getting more daring.  He ran right over and did this slide first thing!  It was a lot of fun.

Party Time!

Today we had Wyatt and Hallee's friend party.  We were supposed to have it last week, but since I was so sick we had to put it off for a week.  We did it at Jungle Jim's.  They have a special on Tuesday so even with paying for 17 kids and buying cupcakes we just barley went over $50 for the whole party.  It was worth every penny!  The kids all had a blast and it was hardly any work for me.
We ate cup cakes and opened presents and the kids just played and rode rides the rest of the time.
Everyone was so generous. Hallee and Wyatt loved all of their presents.  We had to open them and play with them as soon as we got home!
I loved how each kid wanted to tell Wyatt or Hallee about their presents.  It was so sweet that they all picked out the presents just for them.
I love this age because their friends are still my friend's kids.  It was great to have my friends there with all of their kids!
It was great having Tiff there.  I have missed hanging out with her while I've been sick!
Poor Kiara got sick after too many spinning rides and fell asleep right on the table.
I loved holding Kyle and I loved when he fell asleep on me.  I miss that!
I love seeing how excited Wyatt and Rockwell are to play together.  They had a blast.
Caitlyn had fun with all of the girls.
Jonah brought his friend Ryelin and Parker and Logan went around with them most of the time. Cute boys!
I didn't get many pictures on the rides and they never turn out well anyway.  I just had fun visiting and watching the kids.
Wyatt got stuck on the bounce house.  Rockwell would climb up first every time and then pull Wyatt up.  I loved watching that.
There were a lot of big smiles on the bumper cars.
The only ride Hallee used to like there was the jeeps.  When we got there I realized the jeeps were gone!  Hallee finally decided to try the bumper cars and she really liked those.  I was so glad she found something she liked.  She also liked playing in the toddler area.
I can't get very good pictures of the bumper cars, but it was sure fun watching Hallee and Tessa laugh while driving around.
Hallee came over and told me that she wanted to ride with Colin.  Colin was all for it and off they went.  It was so cute!
This motorcycle was giving out free rides and the kids thought that was fun.
Wyatt and Hallee had a great party!  I'm so grateful for everyone who came and that they all love my kids!
