We were in Arizona for Father's Day again this year. The men wanted eggs benedict again. It tasted great! The kids all made cards and Elena and Caitlyn made the cutest video. It was a fun relaxing day. Matt is swamped at work, so it was nice that he didn't have too many meetings at church that day.
I also celebrated my birthday down there as well. It was a great day. I got to spend the day in the pool with my favorite people!
We all loved going out and swimming every day. After we swam Keith and I went to lunch and then I got a nice birthday nap!
That night Matt and Lori took us to dinner for my birthday. We went to this Mexican restaurant and it was so good!
While we were gone the kids cleaned the house to surprise us. It was really cute. They did this a lot to try and earn money. It was cute to see Wyatt and Hallee helping out.
After dinner we had ice cream with all of the kids and they all gave me cute cards. I sure love all of these kids! It was fun to spend my birthday with them and let them all fuss over me!
The next day Keith and I were able to go to the Gilbert Temple. We have been wanting to go for a while, but we always forget our clothes or our recommend. Lori kept the kids so we could go. The temple is beautiful inside and out. It was great being there with Keith.
Caitlyn and Elena had some crazy ideas while we were there. One of them was to sell spoons that they had decorated in the hot Arizona sun. We told them that no one would be outside, but they didn't care. Some poor guy delivering his business cards took pity on them and bought one. Crazy girls.
Keith had fun playing war with the kids. Cody was excited to play too.
We did a read-a-thon with treats for the kids one day. They thought that was fun.
The boys loved to play on electronics when we weren't swimming. We were always trying to get them to do other things. Legos was a hit one day.
The girls had no problem staying busy. They loved doing crafts and thought their lotion facials were fun!
