We celebrated July birthdays and a late 4th of July this week at my mom's house. Wyatt and Hallee were both excited, but Wyatt was so excited he could hardly stand it.
Wyatt wanted a train cake and Hallee was fine with that. Wyatt is so excited about his birthday this year. He talks about it all the time. Hallee seemed to be feeling better so we went ahead with the party. She has just had a few days where she gets a fever and doesn't feel good and once I give her the medicine she is fine until it wears off again. She has no other symptoms, so I'm not sure what is going on. She seems to be feeling better today, so hopefully she has fought off whatever was bothering her.
We had a barbecue and visited and played for a while. Wyatt was begging to open presents. They opened their presents from grandma and grandpa, Mel's family and then we gave them each an early present.
Wyatt was so excited with his "blue ninja" from grandma and grandpa.
He was also thrilled with his Spiderman watch!
I loved watching Hallee use her feet to help her open her new doll from grandma and grandpa.
She was excited about all of her new presents!
She pulls the funniest faces. She really is a crack up.
They love to blow out candles!
After presents we did fireworks. All of the kids were excited that they each got to light some.
Hallee must have been feeling better because she was dancing around in the fireworks! At one point I looked back and Wyatt had his little chair all the way in the back of the garage under the bench because the fireworks were so loud. He got brave and came out and watched them with us and just kept his hands over his ears.
