Hallee asks me what time it is all day long. I'm not sure what she does with the information, but she always wants to know what time it is.
I'm so excited to announce that Hallee is potty trained. I have been hoping that if I just put it off and waited until she was older that she would just do it quickly and she did! She had two accidents and after that she has done great. I'm so grateful. I think Heavenly Father knew I couldn't handle another experience like Wyatt. Potty training Wyatt was a nightmare!
It has been so hot here. We have been inside a lot because you really can't be outside unless you are in the water. Last week I went out early one morning to mow the lawn and work in the yard in hopes of beating the heat. It was better, but it was still hot. I set up the water table for the kids so they could stay cool while I worked.
When the older two woke up they came out and joined us. They all had a great time running through the sprinklers.
I told the kids they could wash the little cars. Wyatt loved this!
Caitlyn and Jonah had a water fight.
I let them throw water on me so I could stay cool.
Later that day Caitlyn and Jonah had birthday parties. The times overlapped a little so we had some time with just Wyatt and Hallee and then we had some one-on-one time with both Caitlyn and Jonah that day. It was really nice. Jonah just sat in our room and made us laugh. I love that smile of his.
Me and the girls were all in blue on the 4th of July so I took a couple of pictures. We were all supposed to lean different ways on this picture, but I guess the girls didn't get the memo!
I sure love these girls!
Last night Mel and I took the boys to the NBA Summer League. We were there for two games. It was pouring when we got there. We had to run from our parking spot (that was not close) to the arena in the pouring rain. We were all soaked! I was wearing flip flops, so I was just glad I didn't fall. Jonah was so sweet and waited for me when they all got ahead of me.
We were really excited because we got 11th row seats and we even moved up a few rows for the Jazz game. We are always up high, so this was exciting!
It is fun to watch Jonah watch the game and see him get excited when they made a good play.
It was a fun night out with the boys!
Shortly after I got home last night Hallee woke up with a really high fever. I gave her some medicine and she started to feel better, but I didn't want to put her back to bed until her fever went down. Hallee wanted ice cream and I thought, why not. Hallee and I went to Sonic for shakes at midnight. She was feeling better while we were there so we had fun playing together in the car while we waited for our shakes.
After we got home she was feeling better and ready to go back to bed. As soon as she woke up this morning she had to tell Wyatt that she got ice cream last night!
