We were so excited that Matt and Lori came into town this weekend. They are going on pioneer trek next week and leaving the kids here in Utah. We were excited that they stayed with us Friday night. They got in a little after 1 AM. I was excited to show them our house.
Everyone went to sleep except for me and Matt. We stayed up talking until 4:45 AM. It was so great. I sure love my brother! I keep telling my kids, you guys might fight now, but you will love spending time together when you get older. Matt and I are the perfect example of that. Of course all of our fighting when we were kids was Matt's fault, I'm sure of it!
Matt and Lori's niece was getting married in the Mt. Timpanogus Temple Saturday afternoon so we decided to meet at a park in Orem on Saturday morning. The weather was great and we all had a lot of fun visiting while the kids played.
The crazy couple that started it all!
Caitlyn loved having Amarie and Elena here Saturday morning. They had fun playing hide and seek at the park.
Some of the kids played softball.
Jonah always loves hanging out with EJ and Elijah, they are so good to him. I love this picture.
It melted my heart when I heard Rockwell yell out, "Wyatt, I'm going to play tag with Hallee because she doesn't have anyone to play with." Rockwell is always so sweet to Hallee and she loves it. It makes me love him even more!
I love listening to Hallee and Tessa's conversations. I think they were disagreeing on something here and I'm pretty sure Tessa wasn't trying to flash Hallee, but what a perfect picture! Later they were telling us all to be quiet while they ran around the park hiding from Captain Hook.
Wyatt loved playing tennis. I think a lot of people had fun playing tennis.
Matt and Lori bought everyone pizza. They are always so generous. It was a perfect, easy lunch!
Jonah had fun throwing the football with Keith. He loved when Cody joined in for a game of keep away.
I can't get over how grown up Jonah is looking these days. He sure is a handsome boy! He has been working on his Gordon Hayward hair for a while now and he is pretty excited that it is finally just right. He loves when people tell him that he looks like Gordon Hayward (he doesn't know that I have told them to say it).
Matt kept saying, "Hey Wyatt, what's your budget?" He would laugh and say, "I don't know what a budget is!" Love this picture. My kids sure think Uncle Matt is pretty cool.
Elijah's athletic ability never ceases to amaze me. We all kept begging him to dunk it and hang on the rim. He is a good sport and did it for us. I had fun playing lightning with Mel, Matt, Paul, EJ, Elijah and Jonah. Jonah was so sweet and kept looking out for me and telling people not to get his mom out!
Same old Matt! Isn't Damon the cutest? Oh man that boy is special. He makes everyone happy and he looks adorable while he does it!
We stayed at the park for a few hours and everyone had a great time. I love spending time with my family. I don't know what I would do without my siblings and as extra bonus they all married people that I love. We won't get to see Matt and Lori anymore, but we are excited Cody and Elena are going to come stay with us for a few days later this week!
Mom and dad came over after the park. Wyatt was excited to show grandma how he could ride his bike and Hallee loved playing with grandma. It was a great day!

That was a fun day. Great pictures!
I loved the pictures Al and I was able to see some of the things I missed like Elijah slam dunking it and hanging on the rim! I loved Rockwell's quote too! What a kind boy! We have such a wonderful family and it was a fun day!
