4-Years-Old

I can't believe this cute girl is already 4-years-old.  We will be on vacation on her birthday, so I am doing this post a little early.  I love how photogenic Hallee is.  Her fake smile is a little scary, but her real smile is gorgeous!
Hallee is hilarious.  She loves to make our family laugh.  She is more shy and reserved with other people, but she is constantly being a goof ball at home.  She loves to tell jokes and she loves to make her brothers and sister laugh.
I can't get over how gorgeous Hallee is, look at her, she is perfect!
I love her brown eyes, her red hair and her cute dimple!
Hallee is either very happy or very upset, there isn't a lot of in-between with her.  She can lose it over tiny things and be completely inconsolable, but she can also go with the flow and be easy going.
Hallee loves to play dress up, she is always in a different costume. She stays in character and we have to call her by whatever name she is at the moment.
Hallee is my first child to be picky about clothes.  She wants to choose what she wears and she is especially picky about her dresses on Sunday.
Hallee is very smart.  She picks things up quickly and memorizes things easily.  She has learned a new scripture every month this year including the 4th Article of Faith.  She started writing her own name a few moths ago.  She loves to color, she takes her time and stays in the lines and does an amazing job.
Hallee hates to be hot.  She doesn't get cold very easily, she is usually hot.  She hates to be outside when it is hot, she will usually just sit in the shade.  She loves to swim, swing, ride her scooter and she loves bubbles. Hallee loves to play with dolls and ponies.  She loves to sing and dance.  She has really enjoyed her dance class and does really well.
Hallee is becoming very social and she loves to play with friends.  She would choose Tessa over anyone, but she is making some other friends in the ward that she likes to play with.  Hallee doesn't like when people invade her personal space, she gets very nervous when kids grab her or touch her.  She loves to give hugs and snuggle up with mom and dad, but she is pretty guarded with everyone else.
I am so grateful for Hallee,   She fills the role of the youngest child perfectly.  Sometimes I miss my baby, but I love watching Hallee grow and develop.  I love not knowing what she will say next.  I love her sweet laugh and how expressive she is.  I love how she gives me a play by play of everything everyone is doing.  I love how she always asks me what time it is like she has some important schedule to keep.  I love how she can't say her "R's."  I love that she is becoming independent, but she still wants her mom. Basically, I just love being her mom!
