Oregon Bound

Jonah and I had the opportunity to fly to Oregon for five days.  I knew I wanted to be there when Kyle went through the temple and we decided that I would take Jonah with me so he could spend time with his cousins.  I also strategically took Jonah because I knew there wouldn't be fighting while I was gone if he wasn't there.  Caitlyn was excited to stay home and earn some money by watching Hallee and Wyatt during the day while Keith was at work.  I thought about taking her as well, but Lindy was at camp for most of our trip and it worked out perfectly to have her home with the younger kids.
Jonah was really excited to fly.  He flew when he was a baby, but obviously he doesn't remember that.  We flew out on Wednesday evening.
Grandma flew out with us which made it more fun!  It was nice that the three of us could sit together.
I was excited to share this experience with Jonah.  He loved the flight.  He liked looking out the window and flying through the clouds.
Jonah and I flew home on Monday afternoon.  Our airplane was really small on the way home.  We had to walk outside to get on the airplane, I have never been on one so small.
Grandma left earlier than us, so it was just me and Jonah on the way home.  There were only two seats on each row.  It was so fun to have this special trip with Jonah.
