We had my family over to celebrate Hallee and Wyatt's birthday on Sunday. They were both so excited and couldn't stop asking when it would start.
We gave them both a big present that we hid under a sheet. Tessa has this same barbecue and Hallee has been wanting one for a while. I thought she would get so excited when she saw it, but instead she was totally stone faced. It was so weird because she is always so expressive.
She told me she loved it and smiled when I asked her too, but the reaction wasn't there like I thought it would be.
She was stoned face for most of it, but she started smiling more toward the end. I think she could have used a nap that day.
I found this motorcycle really cheap a while ago and I was really excited to give it to Wyatt. He had no idea what he was getting and the day before he said, "I wish I could get a real motorcycle for my birthday so I could ride into town."
He loves it. It is so cute to see him driving it around the house.
Wyatt was the opposite of Hallee, he was so excited about everything. Both Wyatt and Hallee loved all of their presents, they have been having a lot of fun with them.
I love his excited smiles. The kids had fun playing with their cousins after presents and cake and ice cream. I can't believe it, but I forgot to take a picture of Wyatt and Hallee with their cakes.
It was fun to celebrate with the family!
