Keith's birthday was during camp again this year. I hate missing his birthday. Luckily, everyone at work spoiled him and the kids made the day special for him. They surprised him with a candy bar poster when he came home from work. Keith took the kids to Brick Oven to celebrate.
Katie was so great and came and played with the kids and took them bowling and to dinner. She was so nice to do this especially since she was moving the next week!
They loved spending the day with their friends. Jonah did a great job taking care of things at home, but I was glad they got to get out for the day.
I was a lot less nervous about things at home this year. Last year Keith's job was so stressful and I was so worried that the kids would need him and he would have to leave work. This year Keith was able to come home for lunch every day and Jonah was another year older and wiser and everything went great while I was gone!
