I'm not going to lie, life after the cruise has been a little rough. We were all wishing we were back on the boat when we got home.
Hallee decided we needed to bring a little bit of boat life to our house. On Sunday she made menus for everyone so they could order their dinner.
She took everyone's order and then brought them to me.
I prepared their plates and she passed them out. I talked like Luna and called them Mr. Jonah and Ms. Hallee, but my jokes are not nearly as funny as his are! I told my sisters that there should be a halfway program to ease us back into real life!
Tanner was here while we were on the cruise, luckily he was able to come over the day before we left for a while. Jonah loved spending the afternoon with him.
Monday we met Keith after work at the Water Gardens in Pleasant Grove to see Toy Story 4. I was still in vacation mode so we bought treats and had a fun night! I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked the movie.
Caitlyn saw an art project online and the kids had fun making lots of pictures for a few days.
The Beck's were in Provo one day so they came over for the afternoon.
Wyatt loves penguins. He started a penguin club on Sunday and made this flag. I thought it was so cute.
Emilee and I ran some errands and left the kids here. It was great to be able to talk and visit while the kids were home having fun together.
Amarie stayed over one night. The next day they decided they wanted to ride bikes to the parkway. They sure are beautiful girls!
Caitlyn loves spending time with Amarie, that is her happy place.
Last week we had Tiff's kids over for a movie party and play day. My kids loved it. I got a lot of my cruise blogging done since all of the kids were having fun playing.
Mel took the girls to see Peter Pan to celebrate Amarie's birthday. Caitlyn went home with them and stayed for two nights. I think she would move in with them if I would let her. They treat her like royalty over there!
Caitlyn was excited to make Amarie this candy poster for her birthday. She even watched videos to learn how to fold the money we gave her into hearts. I'm so glad Mel and I had girls so close together!
Saturday we worked hard in the yard. We did lots of weeding, trimmed trees, mowed the law and put up the new trampoline mat. We also got a basketball hoop for the trampoline, the kids have been having a lot of fun with that.
Jonah and Wyatt wanted to show me their tricks yesterday.
Today Jonah left for scout camp. It is the first time he has been away from home and I'm having a hard time with it. I think he was a little bit nervous about getting homesick. At first he said he didn't want to go, but once he heard that his friends were going he decided he wanted to go.
I hope he is having fun. Our neighbor will be there all week and that gives me a lot of comfort. I know Peter will take good care of him.
