Wyatt wrote his teacher a note to go along with the present we got her. It was so sweet. Last year he hated school and this year he loves it and he loves his teacher. I am so grateful for good teachers.
His letter said:
Dear Mrs. Young: You are the best. I just remembered I have cried myself because I missed you. You always cheer me up. Please note I have never done this with any other teacher. You have taught me much. In fact I wouldn't know how to write this letter if you didn't teach me how to write. You are my favorite teacher and you probably always will be. I hated school, but you made it so I like it. That goes for specialties, you made me like music, art, PE, math, reading, writing (I'm writing right now) and science. I would not be writing this letter right now if you didn't make me like writing. You always put other people first and help them. You have probably helped 100-150 people and improved their lives so much and one of those people is me. I have never liked someone so much except for my parents. I hope you have a good break. Wyatt
We went to our ward Christmas party last week. Jonah wasn't feeling good and Hallee was off playing with her friends when they took the picture. I really don't like ward parties, they stress me out and cause me a lot of anxiety, but Shannon told me that she really wanted us to come so they would have someone to sit with and the kids wanted to go so I went. We sat with Shannon, Alisha and Caleb. We all had a nice time.
I finally printed up our 2018 blog books. Jonah loves to read them so he was excited to get the new ones. He came home from school and sat down and started reading them. I'm glad he loves them so much. I try to remind him of that when he doesn't want me to take pictures.
Today we went over to Mel's to have some time with EJ. It was fun to hear more about army life. EJ is such a fun person to be around, we all really miss him!
We went to Rita's for a gelati.
Keith had the day off. He stayed home and got the oil changed and some other errands and Hallee stayed with him. They had fun spending the day together.
Jonah put Wyatt inside the Rita's sign before we left. Wyatt didn't seem to mind!
