We were in Salt Lake on Saturday so I thought it would be fun to go see the lights at temple square. After we sat in traffic for an hour just trying to find a parking space I remembered why we didn't go last year.
We finally found a parking spot and after a pretty good walk we were finally at temple square. The kids weren't very excited about going in the first place and the traffic and crowds didn't help, but once we got there everyone relaxed and had fun.
Mom and Alexys came with us.
Jonah started getting goofy and that helped everyone cheer up and have a good time.
It was pretty cold, but not terrible.
Caitlyn and Alexys had fun taking pictures together.
It's been 18 years since Keith proposed, he surprised me (I thought the ring wasn't ready) and proposed while we were with my family looking at the lights.
Six months later we were married in the Salt Lake Temple. I'm sad they are closing it for reconstruction. We like to go there on our anniversary.
It doesn't get much cuter than this!
Jonah was giving everyone piggy backs and I told Jonah that I wanted a turn to give him one.
The highlight of the night was when Jonah gave grandma a piggy back.
After the lights we went to my mom's for cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate. They were so good! It ended up being a really late night and we paid for it on Sunday morning, but I'm glad we went, it was a fun adventure!

Jonah and Grandma... too cute!!!
That was a fun night after the stress but it was worth it! I'd forgotten that Keith proposed while we were looking at the lights on Temple Square so I'm glad you reminded me of that. I love the picture of Jonah giving me a piggy back ride! What a cute boy and a strong one!
