New York City Day 3

Sunday morning we got an early start.  We took the subway to Lower Manhattan.  The Statue of Liberty and the 9/11 Memorial are both in that area.  It was great to take the subway as far as we could because we did a ton of walking that day.
The subway was full that morning.  I took a picture so I could show my family what it was like on the subway.
We could see the World Trade Center while we were walking.
There are so many pretty views.
We stopped at Trinity Church to see where Alexander Hamilton was buried.
Here is the monument to Alexander Hamilton.
Here is his wife's tombstone.  Eliza lived 50 years longer than Alexander.  They also had a tombstone for their son.
We went to the New York Harbor and got on a boat and rode that out to the Statue of Liberty.  I loved looking at the city from the water.  I also love that I caught a seagull in this picture.  This is what the boat looked like that we were on.  We sat on the top deck.  It was a little cold, but we had great views!

Awesome pictures! The subway looks crazy and I'm glad you had Kristen there to direct you. Interesting to see where Alexander Hamilton is buried and his wife's headstone.
