Seaside

We were all hungry and ready for lunch so we went to Seaside and grabbed a quick lunch.  After that we went into the shops so the kids could warm up a little more.
After the shops we headed out to the beach.  The kids had fun on the swings for a while.
The older kids wanted to stay on the swings and play in the sand, but Hallee wanted to go out to the water and look for more sand dollars.
The sun came out while we were in Seaside.
Keith and I had fun exploring with Hallee.
We saw a seagull pull a crab out of the water and eat it.  It was fascinating and a little sad.
Hallee found lots of sand dollars.  I think they found one whole one, but they are very fragile and it ended up breaking.
The kids loved this sand because it was the kind of sand that brushed right off of you.
I though it was cute that Hallee wrote her name in the sand.
Wyatt decided he wanted to look for some sand dollars so I was happy to walk out to the water with him again.
While we were gone they buried Hallee's legs.  Caitlyn wanted a picture to show how far they buried her.
We stopped to get gelato on our way back to the car.  They had so many yummy flavors to chose from. It was delicious.

Great pictures and Hallee really did get buried in the sand! I'm glad Caitlyn wanted a picture taken of it. Two beaches in one day and gelato to top it off! What could be better?
